Q. Video resolution is low at my client application. How do I get HD quality?

A. The quality of videos is not restricted at any way and the most of videos are available at HD quality. The resolution is defined in the /v1/media/playouts.json response. Please note that HLS is an adaptive format. If you enlarge the window size, the video in the HSL format should auto increase the resolution.

Q. Does HLS format support subtitles?

A. Unfortunately we don’t currently support subtitles in the HLS manifest. Use the separate srt-file for subtitling (see /v1/media/playouts.json endpoint data.subtitles.[uri]) or request a stream with burned subtitles using hardsubtitles parameter. Please note that some of the programs may not have subtitles.
